Hello! Welcome to 2019!
This week was another one to remember. I really love being here and can't describe the feelings I have for this work and the gospel of Jesus Christ. We were able to be in so many different places and meet some wonderful people.
My Spanish has been slowly improving again as I have had the chance to use it more and more frequently. I love the Spanish culture, food, language, everything. It feels like being home!
Church on Sunday was great. We had 4 people with us at church! Right now we don't have a Branch President, so we led most of the meetings and did most of the classes. It was great though!
On Saturday my companions and I were able to travel back to Searcy for the baptism of Weston! He is one of the people that I taught while in Searcy and it was a great time being there with him and his family. He has a mission in his sights and that makes me really excited for him.
I can't wait to get on the roll again and tackle another week! So many miracles happen every day. It is energizing!
Que tengan una buena semana!

2019!
Monday, December 31, 2018
Hello Friends and Family,
So sorry if I haven't gotten an email off to one of you individually as of recently! The holidays are a busy time as a missionary and I will get an email off to you soon. This week was absolutely wonderful. We had a great time being in Dardanelle and working hard. There are so many people here that are prepared to receive the gospel.
What are your goals for next year? I got some set and I'm really excited! 2019 is going to be a really eventful year for all of us. I can't believe that I spent all of 2018 as a missionary. I am thankful for the opportunity God has given me to serve him without any reservations.
Love y'all and will talk to you again soon!
Happy New Year

Hello!
I am so excited that Christmas is in a little over a week! I love this time of year. Especially because I'll be able to talk with my family. Y'all are wonderful. I will be emailing next Monday as well, but will call y'all on Christmas as well!
This last week was amazing. However, I am excited for the future because I received the news that I will be serving in a town just south of Russellville, called Dardanelle. I will be there with elder Mabeus, one of the missionaries I am with now, and elder Lee, a new missionary that has been out for 3 months. I am so excited. One of the best parts is that the town is mostly Hispanic! I will be speaking A LOT more Spanish than I was here in Searcy. The town is 51% percent Spanish speaking. Very excited to serve there, but am going to miss Searcy a ton. Saying goodbye to the people I love and care so much about has been difficult.
That is most of the big news from me! I feel like pictures will speak louder than words for this email. I love you all so much!

Hello Family and friends!
I said in last week's email that I would only be emailing this coming Wednesday, but we were given 30 minutes to email today, in addition to Wednesday! This is just a one time thing, but they wanted us to get our families emailed on Monday. Those of you that emailed me individually, I will be sure to respond on Wednesday!
We started teaching a family that owns a Hispanic market here in Searcy! It is so exciting to be able to work with them and see them progress in the gospel. We are meeting with them throughout the week, and tomorrow morning we are going to help vaccinate some cattle they own! After that we will teach them and have lunch. Wonderful people. I'll be sure to take pictures!
The holidays are a wonderful time of year and I am so very thankful for this special season in which I can put an added emphasis on my love and devotion for Jesus Christ. I know that He lives. He lived a perfect life and continues to live and help each of us be better.
I look forward to talking to you all again soon! Hasta luego!

The first two pictures are taken this last Sunday morning. There was supposed to be a really bad ice storm the night before, so our leaders cancelled church. As you can see, the only thing that iced over was a small puddle in our parking lot... sad day.
Other pictures are me preaching the gospel to a group of Harding students in a coffee shop and us posing by the little red river!

Happy Monday!
So good to hear from each of you and that you're doing well. Before I forget to tell you all! My next preparation day will be on Wednesday December 12th. That being said, you will hear from me next week on Wednesday instead of Monday! Just a heads up!
This week was wonderful. I can't even remember what happened. It moves very quickly. Yesterday was really cool at church though. We had 6 college students there! We filled a whole pew. It was an exciting experience to worship with them and take the sacrament. After church we did family history with 2 different college students!
I am all over the place but this week was great. I'm loving it still.
Can't wait to hear from y'all again soon!

Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Birthday (Momma), and almost Merry Christmas!
First and foremost, I have to comment on the wonderful lady that is my mom. She is the best. In fact, she is the best mom ever. I am thankful for her, and for the life she has lived. A fond memory i have with her is when we were in Moab together. I don't remember why it was just us two there at that time, but we had a day to ourselves to adventure and look around! It is such a fond memory because I got to spend one on one time with mom. We drove, did hikes, took pictures, and talked. She always has taught me to push myself and have fun while doing it! She has led me to places that i could not reach on my own. Happy birthday to a very special lady.
Harding Place - We organized a district (9 missionaries) service project at a retirement community in our area named Harding Place. It was a great success! It's and independent living retirement community very similar to Windcrest where i used to work. However, it is not quite as big or nice. Still a lovely place though. We spent the afternoon doing odd chores that the residents could not do them selves. Some of these activities included; moving furniture, vacuuming, rearranging computers, hanging pictures, etc.
Thanksgiving - We did service all morning and ate all afternoon! In the morning we woke up early and got to work raking the leaves of different families in our ward. It was really good to serve them and see them all together as families. Then, starting at noon we ate with the kelley and played football with their grandsons. Immediately after that we ate at 2 with the Galloways, where we had a non-traditional thanksgiving dinner of steak and vegetables. Really good! I'm always a fan of different things for thanksgiving. We then went and did our studies for the day. Then we finished off the day with the Bradford Family! They are a great family that just moved in for medical residency. Overall, a great day! We all weighed ourselves at the begginign and end of the day. Elder Mabeus gained 11 pounds, I gained 10, and elder Webb gained 6. That's a lot of food! Sadly, 2 days later I'm right back to my normal weight.
Spanish Market - We visited one of the Hispanic Stores in Searcy to try and find new people to teach. We found a family there! They are the owners of the store and we will be visiting them early next week to teach them and their kids. The mom is from Searcy and the dad is from Mexico! Great family
I am happy and healthy. This work is amazing. I know that I have been called of God to declare his word to his people. It is my hope that by doing so I can make an impact and help His children have everlasting life. (3 Nephi 5:13)
Love you all,

Tom's Baptism!
Monday, November 19, 2018
Hello Family and Friends!
This week we were preparing for tom to be baptized and for a ton of other things! Today we had a zone preparation day so there was little to no time to email. We organized a bunch of activities for everyone and it turned out well!
This week I have been reflecting on the simple things that sometimes I overlook and do not give gratitude for. I am so blessed and am thankful for a loving God that has so richly blessed my life.
Love Y'all so so much!
