Hello Family!

This week my companion and I were able to make it all across the state of Arkansas! It has been such a blessing to see so many different cities and the people that live there. It really adds to my testimony that God is preparing the hearts of people all over the world!

Overall I spent about 5 days outside of my area, so coming back early Sunday morning in time for church was really a treat. We had a wonderful time and I was given the opportunity to speak in sacrament meeting. My talk was on "finding joy in the journey." Most of the thoughts I shared were emphasizing the value of time. We have been given a finite amount of time on this earth and we will be held accountable for how we use it. I shared how my mom (and now myself) was so organized with her planner and the things that needed to get done. How she filled her time really showed what was important to her. She served faithfully in church callings, volunteer work, temple attendance; but most importantly she was a mom. I remember and cherish that she purposefully arranged her schedule in such a way that she could not only be home 15 minutes before I got home from school, but also made it a priority to have my friends and I over for lunch during the school week.

How we use and what is in own personal planners can tell us a lot about how we value the time God has given us. I would invite each of you to join me in carefully evaluating if your time is spent in the things that matter most. With that I would propose that building the kingdom of God is the most wise use of our time. Whether it is in our families or away, it is the same, but it must get done.

I love you all so much! The second coming is soon. How soon? I do not know! But the time to prepare is right now.

Elder C.R. Anderson

P.S. I was moving so fast this week I forgot to ever slow down and take some good pictures. However, I did manage to get a very blurry picture of the Searcy Arkansas sings (one of my old areas)
